After many emails and questions about using the Auto Follow function and Text BG function together in a scene, TutsGFX has released the Vizrt Text BG and Auto Follow Tutorial. This explains how to use both of these functions together in your scene designs. Used individually these functions can helpful but use together and you can achieve greater scene functionality.
The video represents a real world scenario in scene design in Vizrt Artist. When these functions organization in the scene tree will be essential and the center points of each container must be correct for these plugins to function properly and do what you want them to do. Generally when it comes to your scene designs within Vizrt Artist using one of these functions alone in the scene would be enough for creative use but using them in conjunction with each other you'll have greater scene functionality.
The Text BG and Auto Follow tutorial shows you how to create a scene that when text gets added, the back plate graphic behind the text automatically grows. What's more, there's a design element on the right of the graphic that will get pushed over as the text grows.
