Vizrt Drop Shadows Tutorial

TutsGFX posted the Vizrt Drop Shadows tutorial which demonstrates the different methods of creating drop shadows within a Vizrt Artist scene. The four techniques discussed in the tutorial show you how to create drop shadows for 3d primitives, fonts and stand alone images.

It also shows you how to create and use custom drop shadows as a fourth option. In addition the video shows how to configure vizrt artist so you get the most out of your fonts and drop shadow options.

By the end of this video you will know several different methods to create drop shadows and you'll have the knowledge to use the caster / receiver functions and the Drop Shadow function found in the shaders tab. Also you'll be taught how to maximize the most out of your fonts with regards to drop shadows and how to create your own drop shadows for specific purposes. Depending on how you need your shadow to look and function, you may choose one over the other. When it comes to soft shadows the options might be limited but the options are discussed in the video.
