Template Wizard Tutorial 1
This first video in the series of 5 shows you the template and scene you will be making in this tutorial. The videos focus on building the functionality of a template through the use of drop down menus and radio buttons. These Vizrt training videos show you how to set up the scene in Vizrt Artist, then how to rig the scene for template wizard and finally shows you how to write some visual basic code to embellish the template even more.
Template Wizard Tutorial 2
This second video in a series of five concentrates on setting up the scene in Vizrt Artist and creating a template from it in Vizrt Template Wizard. This video shows you how to rig the scene for a template by using the control objects. You will learn to use several control objects including the Control Container, Control Image, Control Text and Control Omo. After the scene is rigged we take into Template Wizard by using the wizard function to create a template. After watching this video you will know how to design and rig a scene for template wizard. You’ll also learn more about the control functions and how to import the scene into Template Wizard to making a functioning template.
Template Wizard Tutorial 3
The 3rd video in the Template Wizard series advances our template even more by adding images with in the template so producers can quickly identify elements. In this video you will learn how to make and add images from your Vizrt Artist scene into the template. By taking a snapshot of our scene and using the image editor within Vizrt Artist we can modify and optimize our snapshot to incorporate into the template. Using the static image button within Template Wizard we then add these images to produce an accurate representation of the actual graphic within the template.
Template Wizard Tutorial 4
This video advances your knowledge in making templates by making a drop down box for producers to select their graphic. It shows you how to enhance the template by adding images to help the producers identify what they're selecting. The video goes on to show you how to write visual basic code insid the template to make it all work.
Template Wizard Tutorial 5
Part 5 of Vizrt Template Wizard video training series is all about creating radio buttons within a template. This video will show you how to make functioning radio button in a template so that a user can simply select a button and have it change an upper right bug. This template incorporates a visual basic script to link the radio buttons to an omo control. After watching this video you will know how to script several different functions within Vizrt Template Wizard.
Viz Template Wizard is part of Vizrt's Content Pilot Suite. It allows you to build templates for newsroom systems such as ENPS. From within that newsroom system, producers can choose templates and enter their own story information. These newsroom templates or graphics get saved to a graphics play out list ready to hit air. Viz Template Wizard is the component that connects to your VizArtist scenes and where you build the actual newsroom template based off of the artist template.
When connecting template in Viz Template Wizard, you can keep them as simple as you want or make them more advanced for the convenience of the producers. Add functionality can be added to any template by writing visual basic code withing the template.
